My enchanted life....heheheh

What a great week-end!  Friday night out at my favourite cafe in Nambour, Husk & Honey.  Live music with Chris Prior a great new talent, healthy food, warm atmosphere and my extra special husband.

Arts Connect meeting on Saturday morning where I tried hard not to be too rash with my promises of help!  (sorry Pam)   Played with my new thermomix and made some wonderful tasty treats.  No-grain bread, butter, mushroom soup, chicken & apricot risotto.....the list goes on.  Did I mention that my clothes are shrinking?  Tristan made souffles and potato cakes.  Also appears to be making custard at 2am in the morning for his mates!

Think I may be beating the little problem of struggling with ideas for my work.  They are starting to flow again and I have some interesting jewellery designs swirling around in my head.  I will have to hit the studio hard this week - lots of work promised and not much getting out there.

I have my Dad working on the displays for the new range of buttons that Clayplayful is producing - they are so cool and fun to make.  We are doing a quilting show in Mapleton on the 28th and 29th August where we will be introducing our new range.  Hope we gets lots of interest - half the fun is to be appreciated!

Also been enjoying a change of scenery with some sewing of bags - sporting some of the new buttons and fabulous beads of course.  I have discovered that interesting bag handles are not easy to find, so have some plans to produce those as well.

Off to spend some time in the sun, it is a beautiful day in Mapleton.  I shall possibly go out and do some 'suggesting' in the garden and then scuttle back inside before I get hit with a clod of earth.  Lots of work to do on the website.

A little thought...."It takes a long time to grow an old friend."
